Using the QCOS Compatible page

The QCOS Compatible page in the portal is the self-serve home for backend certification and the Quantum Trust Index. It has three tabs. Open it at platform.softquantus.comQCOS Assurance (the sidebar name for the QCOS Compatible program).

Trust Index tab

A ranked table of every certified backend, sorted by its 0–1000 Quantum Trust Index. Each row shows:
  • The score and its coloured trust band (Platinum / Gold / Silver / Bronze / Unrated).
  • Four sub-score bars — Conformance, Evidence, Reliability, Recency — each labelled measured or est. (fallback) so you always know what’s backed by data.
Use it to compare backends at a glance and to spot drift over time. See the Quantum Trust Index reference for how the score is built.

Certify tab

Run an ACOS-ISA certification yourself:
  1. Enter the Backend ID (e.g. ibm_fez, sim_aer), optional name and provider.
  2. Choose the target tierQCOS Compatible (ISA) is the self-serve path.
  3. Click Certify. The full 10-test suite runs and you see per-test pass/fail results, the achieved tier, and — when certified — the issued certificate and evidence IDs.
The result reports certified, the pass rate, and whether it was a reference dry_run. Nothing is fabricated: every test outcome is real.

Evidence tab

Load any evidence bundle by ID, inspect its manifest, and verify it locally:
  • Download JSON — the full evidence manifest.
  • Verify locally — your browser recomputes the manifest’s SHA-256 hash and checks the signature using WebCrypto. A green result means the bundle you received hashes to its stated value; a tampered bundle fails immediately.
This is genuine, in-browser verification — no server trust required. The same logic is available offline as the open-source softquantus-verify package.

Selling point

For customers evaluating quantum hardware, this page turns “trust us” into “verify it yourself”: a single trust score, a self-serve certification they can re-run, and cryptographic evidence they can validate independently.
