Autopilot — Closed-Loop Workload Routing

Autopilot runs a unified sense → forecast → act loop before your workload touches hardware: it forecasts physical noise, picks the best qubit subgraph, estimates the surface-code logical error for your workload, and returns a single run / remap / defer / block decision.

`logical_qubits`	— (required)	Logical qubits the workload needs
`code_distance`	3	Surface-code distance d (3–51)
`layers`	4	Circuit layers to forecast over
`horizon_s`	1800	Forecast horizon in seconds
`go_success_lcb`	0.60	Lower-confidence-bound success needed to decide `run`
`min_success_lcb`	0.30	Below this, the plan is `block`ed

The four decisions

`decision`	Meaning
`run`	Predicted success clears the go threshold — submit now
`remap`	A better qubit subgraph was found — use `selected_qubits`
`defer`	Noise forecast improves within the horizon — wait
`block`	Predicted success is below the minimum — do not run

Acting on a plan

Autopilot does not submit work itself. When the decision is run, submit through the canonical door:
