Rate Limits

QCOS enforces rate limits and quotas depending on your plan/tier.

What is limited?​

Typical limits include:

  • requests per minute
  • concurrent jobs
  • jobs per day
  • maximum qubits / shots per job

When you hit a limit​

The API returns an error describing the limit and (when available) when you can retry.

Tips​

  • Use exponential backoff on retries.
  • Prefer batching (when available) to reduce request volume.
  • For higher limits, contact support.
